Today
I am starting back
talking back
taking back my life!
I cannot silence my tongue,
beat around the bush
or hide who I really am
no more!
I am strong and smart,
sexy and fun,
giving and loving.
I can be mean and hurtful
but only when you don't
believe what I feel is real.
I cannot understand why
I get blown off,
pushed aside and told
my opinion doesn't matter.
When all I have ever done
has been there to be
a good friend,
a good sister,
a good daughter,
a good mother, and some where in there a good person.
I will continue to do
just that
but in the middle of it all
I will write, and
write
while learning and
write some more.
Always fighting for what I believe in!
