Manic Monday - positive thoughts and quotes

John Lennon - Imagine (Official Music Video)
-Imagery-
The right hemisphere is closely connected to a persons emotional journey.  A person can use imagery to help get thought tough situations that can cause you anxiety.
To help you feel safe you can imagine a light shining around you.  Like a shield from your higher power protecting you from all the bad things looking to corrupt your thinking and your soul.
The image of family
What image to you see in the falls?

When you are scared, close your eyes and think of a happy thought. Relax!   If it is because you are alone in the house trying to sleep because your partner is not home.  Try turning on the washer, dryer, or dishwasher then listen to the sounds and think of yourself sunning on the beach and the waves are crashing on the beach at your feet.  It can be very relaxing.  Way better than counting sheep.

In some realms, imagery is a way for a person to shield themselves from the dark or evil that can be lurking to find a new soul to gain.
A bubble around you can be visualized to help encircle your body away from danger.  Keeping your high power in your heart and beaming the light out as a rainbow of joy to the outside.

The use of imagery can be a very powerful thing for anyone to help keep you balanced and healthy.  Imagine that your skin is of a reflective material such as a mirror or just very shiny.  With this type of protections bad and negative energies can bounce right off you and never get close to your heart.

Imagery can take you places like your imagination can when you read a good novel.

In the desert land he found him,
in a barren and howling wast.
He shielded him and cared for him;
he guarded him as the apple of his eye,
like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers
over it young, that spreads its wings to catch
them and carries them on its pinions.
-Deuteronomy 32:10-11

If you have knowledge,
let others light their candle with it.
- Winston Churchill

Serve wholeheartedly,
as if you were serving the Lord,
not men . . .
-Ephesians 6:7

Don't Quit
Don't quite when the tide is lowest,
For it's just about to turn;
Don't quit over doubts and questions,
For there's something you may learn.

Don't quit when the night is darkest,
For it's jut a while 'til dawn;
Don't quit when you've run the farthest,
For the race is almost won.

Don't quit when the hill is steepest,
For your goal is almost nigh;
Don't quit, for you're not a failure
Until you fail to try.

Be open to different ideas - they just might help
I have many books on my shelf to help me gain knowledge of different areas of life. There is so much we can learn from different cultures, religions, people, and races.  I do not and will not & shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. To close one off from a group that we don't approve of fully just means that we are not versed in who they are.  If what you read does not suit you than let it go.  Use only what can fit into your life.  I have a book of Mormon, Buddha, Wicca, Torah, Bibles, Catholic religion series books and so many more.  There is so much good information in them.  I love books and always want to share their wealth!
