Powerball Fever! Let's win it big! Thrilling Thursdays!

 The Powerball fever is coming your way.  The next pick is on Saturday and who will be our lucky winner?  What is this you ask?  This is a chance to win money of epic proportions.  Millions at a time, maybe a few buck if you are lucky, the redneck retirement plan (if you have ever heard Jeff Foxworthy) and a way to send money to ailing school systems (yeah right and to find out when you click the link about where the money goes you get a 404 fire or directory not found message).  

I know I am off schedule because this should be a Thrilling Tuesday, Wild Wednesday post but I just could not help myself. So much crazy excitement.

          This is a multi-state lottery covers 44 states even Puerto Rico, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands (not in Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, Utah, Alabama & Mississippi).  A person would go to a local lottery agent in your neighbor hood, ours is the gas station, and pick 5 regular numbers from 1 to 69 then pick a special number, the Red ball, from 1 to 26. You pay $2 for each set of numbers per drawing and can add the power play for an extra $1 to have your money multiplied to what shows up during the drawing (1 times, 2, times or 3 times the amount that is won).  If your red ball is picked you win, if a red ball and one of your numbers is picked you win and so on.  The biggest winner is all 5 numbers and the Red ball number.  That would be AWESOME!  

I was am compelled to write some ideas about how to pick numbers for the up coming Powerball drawing on Saturday only because I was going thought the statistics of the most picked numbers.  Most people that play on are always looking at ways to beat the odds and get the perfect numbers to play and try to win. For many of us we pick birthdays, anniversaries, ages of family members, years of important dates, the list of all time winning numbers in that lottery drawing, and so forth but what is the best way to look?

The white balls or regular Powerball numbers go from 1 to 69 and the red balls are 1-35.  This information is listed on the Powerball.net site (www.powerball.net) and you can find different information about the past drawings and current drawings besides the information on the statistic of each number.

Always remember that each number still has an equal chance of being drawing and it only takes one set of numbers to hit the jackpot.

There are many of us who think that we are the underdogs in the situation of life or just seem to get the raw end of the deal and if that person is you than here is some interesting statistics that could help pick those numbers that are always on the losing end of getting picked.

Part of the reason that theses numbers were picked last is because they were added on to the numbers late in the game of this lottery it is stated back in October 7, 2015 (5/69 + 1/26).  Either way the underdogs are here a bit worse than most numbers in the game.

We are only looking at the underdogs that get bypassed.  The new set of red numbers changed during that time and went from 35 balls down to 26.

(They are estimating 700,000,000 that is seven hundred million dollars OMG that is some chunk change)
